Description

Inspired by Pasolini's Medea. I found it a flawed, but otherwise very interesting film, both visually and conceptually. I also felt it offered a good insight into the character of Medea, as a person who had lost their way of understanding the world as they had known it.

Photoshop, Painter, a few hours altogether. Reference used for the hand, kindly shared by batchix.

I'll comment, very well done, this style reminds me of Klimpt a bit. Great work.

The vertical compositon thing is really interesting.
Are there any other caracters presented in this manner? :)
Nice work!

Thanks, everyone! :)

Stefy, I don't have other characters in this format, but it is a thought!

Juro, it is indeed a little stylized! I like Klimt a lot.
(Also -- is that a Monchhichi in your avatar?! I had one when I was little - it was my favourite plushie!)

excellent painterly style, I'm not good with critiques haha, but the blending of the palette is amazing the colors seem like they are on a journey!! wonderful piece!!

benznbackpakz: "colors seem like they're on a journey"! That's pretty much one of the nicest ways I've heard someone describe colours!

The painting reminds of the evil stepmom of Snow White. It looks like the original Disney cartoons. Beautiful but cunning.
