Description

There was a black strand
hanging in mid air
I grabbed it
trying to pull myself out of this
hinterland of uneven flows
and I pulled
and pulled
..

One of my older but favourite pieces, despite the roughness (or partly because of it).

I think the upper body could have been better, but the colours and the composition are both very nice! +7

I remember this one since the time you had all of your work over here at gfx. You are surely talented Eleni. I ve seen all your stuff posted here and at your web-site. Different styles..different feelings.

I beleive that over here most of the work posted by various artists (and there are some outstanding and beautifull pieces) would fall into the category of illustration rather than 'art'. Your work however is different!

All i m saying i supose is that i m glad you re back...:)

Thanks, everyone. =)

And, Kassandra: GFX is more illustration- rather than generic art-oriented, and illustration usually focuses on matters of a more technical nature -- composition, visual perfection.. there's nothing wrong with that, just a different system of evaluating a piece. And it can be useful, too. =)

+7/7 I am very impressed with this, as its roughness still conveys awesome form.
